Typically, most organizations have installed network protection systems, commonly referred to as firewalls, to increase the security of their internal networks. Firewalls are not a hindrance to the deployment of an e-learning solution, and Capital Edge Learning has found most network and firewall configurations to have minimal impact. Under some circumstances, certain issues will need to be considered depending on an organizations network configuration. If an organization does not wish to modify its network configuration, or allow access to outside information systems, CEL can present other alternatives such as CD/DVD distribution or local hosting of e-learning content.
