To keep your workforce at its finest, you need to sustain a learning environment that creates constant upgrading to in pace with the continually changing global marketplace. Corporate training is the most important solution for your business today.

But Corporations are not in the business of making workers smarter, but rather in the business of increasing revenue or reducing costs, so a cheap but effective solution is needed that satisfies both the issues of progressing through learning and being cost-effective.

Traditional learning methods are quiet expensive and e-learning sometimes proves to be ineffective, so the solution is Blended Learning, it effectively solves both these problems. In fact Blended Learning is the natural evolution of e-learning and traditional learning providing an integrated program of multiple media types, which has proven successful in corporate training.

It sounds simple – mixing e-learning with other types of training deliveries, but it is in actuality a careful mix of training methods combined or ‘blended’ to create a perfect learning solution. Reading this you may realize that this is nothing new, and in part you are right. It’s not new but by providing blended learning with structure and guidelines, it has become a powerful learning solution, which can be adapted to individual corporate needs.

Advantages of Blended Learning

Blended learning is an approach that applies a combination of training options to teach, maintain, and sustain the skills needed for better job performance. With blended learning, the traditional learning methods are combined with new technology to create a synergistic, forceful learning solution that can drive learning to new heights.

Blended learning also adapts to the fact that particular stages of learning require the input and feedback of teachers. So it encourages interaction between learners and teachers. When information is acquired, skills practiced, and a certain level of knowledge achieved, classroom training is added to the learning process to further embed learning and enhance it for the learners.

Blended learning is flexible; it uses the most effective training delivery combination for each phase of learning. It is more effective than any single form of learning. Self-study, job aids, videos, mastery cards, computer-based training (CBT), role-plays, workshops, and web based training (WBT) are all combined to get the maximum learning benefits.

Blended learning is an effective and proven learning method. It utilizes the strengths and benefits of technology-based training as well as traditional self-study, classroom, and on-the-job instruction in a blended format that is modified to the precise training needs of each department.

Blended learning is a cost-effective way that keeps your corporation at its greatest. It decreases boredom, costs, and produces concrete results. It ensures that your workers provide the competitive edge you need to meet your business goals.

So maybe blended learning is old, but who said we can’t use the old ways in a new design if the result is effective, and by effective I mean -----profitable.
